TapeMotion gathers 151 films in which the recording is part of the story, chosen by hand from TMDB: found footage horror and science fiction, cursed videotapes, mockumentaries, mixtapes and video stores, home movies and camcorder documentaries, recordings used as evidence, films told on computer screens, documentaries built from archive footage and films about the making of films. Each film sits on one of twelve shelves, in three families. Every film has an English synopsis, cast, director and a Watch now button that opens it on JustWatch for the country you choose.
Each card carries the tag of its shelf, from Found footage to Making of.
